Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zei AI platform, website, and app (together, the "Service", "Zei AI", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Zei AI does

Zei AI helps you prepare, validate, and submit government form applications - starting with PAN Card services (new/instant PAN, correction, duplicate/reprint, and status tracking) - and books your appointment at a partner CSC (Common Service Centre). Zei AI is a private, independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of India, the Income Tax Department, NSDL, UTIITSL, or Protean eGov Technologies Limited. Final processing and issuance of your PAN remains with the relevant government authority and its authorised agencies.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and OTPs, and for all activity under your account.
• You must be legally eligible to apply for the government service you are requesting (e.g. hold a valid Aadhaar, where required).

3. Accuracy of your information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the details and documents you submit. While we perform automated and manual checks to catch obvious errors, we do not guarantee that your application will be accepted or processed without delay by the government authority, as final approval is outside our control.

4. Fees and payments

• Applicable service fees (including any government/statutory fees) are shown to you before you confirm your application.
• Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway; Zei AI does not store your payment credentials.
• Fees already paid to the government/CSC for form processing are generally non-refundable once submitted, except as required by law or as stated at the time of payment.

5. CSC appointments

Appointment slots are subject to availability at the chosen CSC centre. Zei AI will make reasonable efforts to confirm your slot but is not liable for delays, rescheduling, or unavailability caused by the centre or government systems.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, forged, or someone else's identity documents without authorisation.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including identity fraud.
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service's security or operation.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including CSC centre operators, government/NSDL/UTIITSL systems, and payment processors. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or downtime of these third parties, though we will assist in good faith where issues arise.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zei AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including delays or rejections by government authorities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Zei AI for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are violated, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain obligations (such as fees already incurred) will survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, Delhi.
